John and Jenn came up this weekend and we took Bailey to the Pumpkin Patch for the first time. We also had Madi & Abbey (my niece). What a beautiful day it was. We got there early to beat the crowds. Bailey had a blast. Got see lots of animals, jump on the pillow bounce, went down the slide, played in the corn and the best part was taking the tractor ride out to the field to pick her pumpkin. We had lunch and listened to live music. The weather was gorgeous. Needless to say she was pretty tired by the time we left. Larry took Madi & Abbey to the corn maze (new this year). Said they got thru it pretty quick.

There is a new Sheriff in town...
Go Knights...
This is Madi's second year as a cheerleader for Upper Loudoun Youth Football. She moved up to the "B" league this year (4th,5th&6th grade) and is cheering for the Knights. She is "total" cheerleader and has lots of spirit. This winter she will start taking gymnastics to master walkovers and eventually back handsprings and back tucks as these are requirements for cheerleading in high school.
Horse Camp....
Madi went to Horse Camp this summer at Red Gate Farms in Hamilton, Virginia. She had so much fun. She picked out a horse the beginning of the week and she had to care for the horse the entire week. She had to groom, feed, water, learn to ride (lessons in riding ring) and saddle and everything. They also did horse crafts, went swimming and made lots of new friends. They went on a trail ride one day and at the end of the week had a parade where they got to decorate the horse. She loved it. She pretty much became one with the horse. It was so natural for her. Her horses' name was Cricket and she cried when the week ended. Needless to say we have created a monster. Private lessons will definitely be in her future. Here are some pictures to enjoy.
